FRIENDS & FAMILY
Derek and I were introduced by my neighbours in 1998 in Langley, BC, for the first time. He became my neighbour in my apartment building in February of 1999. He was determined to win me over, share my heart, and be beside me when I was ready to accept his love. He managed quite a struggle with this challenge but by April his arrow had pierced my heart and I surrendered to his love completely. We were separated by his work in July and spent a few months apart. (Let's just say that will never happen again.) I moved to Ontario in January of 2000 and I haven't regretted it one bit. I've always believed in love and have been lucky to have loved and been loved before, but this is my dream, it's everyone's dream, and now Derek and I dream together!

These are my friends, Kim and Tracy, whom I dearly miss from Langley, BC. I met Kim and Tracy at Gabby's and we've spent many a night having fun together while the boys were busy at work. Tracy is a mom of 2 boys (Bailey & Brennen), and a step-daughter (Kayla). Kim is the mother of 2 boys (Coby & Kamren) and a girl (Kayla). You'd never know they had children by looking at them but they're great moms and great friends! They both have wonderful hubbies whom I truly love and miss as well (Hi Greg & Trav!) Hopefully I'll have their pictures soon too. Together, we've all experienced a great amount of fun times (especially at the Merritt Mountian Music Festival). These petite babes have more energy than any go-go girls I've seen and they're definitley hard to keep up with (ha ha)!

Mariah, Demi & Isiah, are my Hawaiian sweeties! Their mother, Pamela is a long time friend of mine. Pam and I became Pen Pals at the age of 12 and I met her for the first time in 1998, after 14 years of writing and e-mailing, when her and Mike decided to finally tie the knot. I lived with my Hawaiian family for two weeks, enjoying the beauties of the main island, enjoying the culture and becoming closer to Pam, her family and friends. It was an extremely wonderful time, the wedding was beautiful, and the ties that I made keep me ever dreaming of visiting again soon! (Isiah is a new addition to the family that I am looking forward to meeting someday!)
